The tools required for video and music production are no longer so expensive that only high end video production companies and schools can afford their own editing suites. People can now afford to buy inexpensive programs to teach themselves the basics of audio engineering, animation, and video production. As a result, the field is full of enthusiastic amateurs who lack the formal education necessary to get a high paying job in the field. The answer is to attend a school or college dedicated to media arts. To get a job in the video production, graphic arts, and music industry, you’re going to need to be trained on programs like Avid, Motion Graphics, and Final Cut Pro.
